Which are the basic requirements to join AEFA?
A).- Candidate companies must prove to have an antiquity of at least 3 years, either as manufacturer or as fertilizers formulator. For this reason we need that the company provide certified copies of the Memorandum of Association and the Certificate of Incorporation.
B).- Therefore, the companies interested in joining AEFA must prove with reliable documents to have the appropriate activity licence or environmental licence and environmental authorizations for manufacturing or formulating manures or fertilizers.
Anyway, it will be enough with the above mentioned licences or if not, with the accreditation of having passed at least 3 years since the company’s documents application.
C).- Furthermore, the companies must have without exceptions the appropriate certificate of the Royal Decree 824/2005 (1) about fertilizers when it is legally necessary because of the characteristics of the manufactured or formulated product.
If the company does not have the certificate at the moment of the admission application in the AEFA, the company must commit itself, officially and in writing, to obtain it within the period of time that the Board of Directors specifies; having always into account the different circumstances.
A breach of any of the requirements will imply the immediate expulsion from A.E.F.A. or the refusal of the candidate company in the Association.
D).- Finally, the firm must fill in an application form for the Association along with all the required documents in a maximum period of 6 moths since the application.
